Help That Does Not Keep You Waiting
Termite infestations aren’t concerns that can sit on a to-do list for a week. Every day that passes creates more damage to repair, especially for older properties. For businesses, infestations place your customers, tenants, and employees at risk.
Kilter Termite and Pest Control is built around that kind of urgency. We want to give people a faster path to answers and a clearer way forward when a termite problem needs attention.
- 24/7 phone support
- Same-day appointments when scheduling allows
- Fast, dependable service across Southern California
- Free inspections for homes and businesses
A Free Inspection Comes First
Every termite control job starts with understanding what is happening at the property. Kilter Termite and Pest Control offers free inspections so homeowners, business owners, and property managers can get a professional assessment before deciding on treatment.
During the inspection, a licensed inspector looks for visible termite activity, damaged wood, and the conditions that may be helping an infestation spread. Accessible structural areas are checked closely.
After the inspection, you receive a detailed written report explaining what was found and where. If termite activity is confirmed, the next step is a treatment recommendation. There is no obligation to move forward with treatment after the inspection.
Treatment Options That Fit Your Property
Some termite problems are more localized. Others are more established. A good treatment plan takes the scope of the infestation seriously and matches the method to the property.
Kilter Termite and Pest Control offers several treatment options, including:
- KILGUARD™ for targeted treatment inside infested wood
- KILFOAM™ for wall voids and structural cavities that need a more direct application
- Tent fumigation for widespread drywood termite activity
- Subterranean termite treatment for colonies connected to the soil around the structure
- Wood repair and replacement when termite damage has already affected structural members
Every KILGUARD™ treatment includes a 2-year whole-home warranty, with extended warranty options available for continued protection.
Get Honest & Straightforward Answers
A lot of frustration around termite treatment comes from not knowing whether the recommendation is actually necessary. Property owners want clarity on cost, timing, disruption, and what the treatment is meant to accomplish.
Our team puts a lot of emphasis on straightforward recommendations.
- You get a clear explanation of the findings
- You see which treatment options fit the infestation
- You can ask questions before committing
- You are not pushed toward a larger job than the property needs
We believe honest guidance matters just as much as the treatment itself. Our customers should feel confident that they are solving the right problem in the right way.
Who We Serve: Homes, Businesses, & Managed Properties
Termites don’t only infest single-family homes. Businesses, mixed-use buildings, multi-unit communities, HOAs, and managed properties may all need termite treatment, often with additional scheduling and coordination concerns.
Kilter Termite and Pest Control works with a wide range of property types, including:
- Homes
- Commercial buildings
- Retail properties
- Office spaces
- Restaurants
- Multi-family communities
- HOAs
- Condominium associations
- Managed portfolios
Commercial termite work often needs to account for business hours, tenant access, customer traffic, shared spaces, and day-to-day operations. A treatment plan for a managed or occupied property should solve the infestation without creating more disruption than necessary.
Why Termites Stay Active in Carlsbad
Carlsbad gives termites plenty of opportunities to settle in. Coastal moisture, mild temperatures, irrigated landscaping, and a wide mix of older homes, updated properties, newer developments, and commercial buildings all create conditions where termite activity can develop and continue out of sight.
Drywood termites and subterranean termites are both part of the problem here.
- Drywood termites live inside the wood they feed on and often remain hidden until pellets, wings, or visible damage start to appear.
- Subterranean termites build from the soil and can move into a structure through hidden access points near the foundation.
Properties do not all carry the same risk in the same way. A coastal home near the beach, a business with landscaped grounds, a condo in a managed community, and a single-family property in an older neighborhood may all need different treatment decisions. A proper inspection matters because the right answer depends on the kind of activity, the areas affected, and the structure itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does termite treatment usually take?
That depends on the treatment selected. Tent fumigation usually means being out of the property for 3 days and 2 nights. Stay-in-place treatments are far less disruptive and do not require leaving the property at all.
Can I send photos before scheduling an inspection?
Yes. Kilter Termite and Pest Control offers a send-a-photo option so you can share images of possible termite activity and get faster feedback on what you may be seeing.
What if I am not ready to move forward right away?
That is fine. Getting information first is often the most important step. Once the inspection is complete and the findings have been explained, you can take the time to review your options and decide what makes sense for the property.
How does financing work?
Financing is available through Wisetack for qualifying purchases from $500 to $25,000. Instead of paying everything upfront, approved customers can break the cost into monthly installments and choose a payment option that works better for their budget.
