Oceanside Termite Inspections
Protect Your Home with a Professional Termite Inspection
If you own a home in Oceanside, you already know that termites are part of life along the coast. What is harder to know is whether they are quietly working inside your walls right now. A careful termite inspection in Oceanside helps you catch problems early, before minor damage turns into major repairs.
At Kilter Termite and Pest Control, we make that first step easy with a free, no-obligation termite inspection. Our local team has been serving Southern California homeowners since 1992, and we have spent decades working in coastal communities just like yours. We focus on clear communication, honest findings, and solutions that fit your home and budget.
Whether you noticed a few suspicious droppings, are in escrow on an Oceanside house, or simply want peace of mind, we are here to walk you through the process from inspection to next steps.
Have you noticed signs of termites or want added peace of mind? Contact Kilter Termite and Pest Control to schedule your termite inspection in Oceanside today with our experienced local team.
Why Oceanside Homeowners Choose Kilter Termite and Pest Control
When you invite someone to inspect your home, you need to know they are qualified and that they will treat you fairly. Our State Licensed Inspectors and State Certified Applicators complete continuing education in termite detection and treatment methods, so you are getting current knowledge every time we visit. We bring that training into every crawl space, attic, and garage we inspect.
Since 1992, our team has grown from a small local business into one of the top 100 pest control companies in the United States. Along the way, we have earned awards like Angi’s “Best of SD 2023,” as well as recognition in Orange County and Los Angeles. We also maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, which reflects years of resolving customer concerns the right way.
For homeowners in this part of San Diego County, convenience and communication matter just as much as credentials. We offer same-day appointments when our schedule allows, 24/7 phone support, and emergency visits for urgent situations such as active swarmers. Our inspectors take time to explain what they see in plain language, answer your questions, and provide written recommendations without pressure.
We know many residents here are retirees or long-time owners of coastal properties, so we also provide a 10 percent senior discount. Most importantly, our business philosophy is simple. We start every service with a complimentary inspection and then suggest only the treatments we would choose for our own homes.
From Inspection To Treatment Options
Many homeowners worry that calling for a termite inspection automatically leads to tenting and moving out for several days. In reality, not every situation calls for that level of disruption. After we inspect your home and share our findings, we explain all reasonable options and help you weigh the pros and cons of each choice.
In many Southern California homes, we can recommend our KILGUARD and KILFOAM termite treatment systems instead of whole-house fumigation. These no-tent approaches are designed to target both drywood and subterranean termites without toxic fumes, overnight hotel stays, or packing up your food. This can be especially helpful for residents who have pets, young children, or elderly family members in the home.
When treatment is appropriate and you choose to move forward, we back our work with a two-year “No Problem” warranty that covers your entire home, not just the spots we treated. If termites return anywhere in the structure during that period, we come back to address the issue at no added charge. Our goal is to provide a clear safety net so you can feel more confident about your decision.
Sometimes an inspection uncovers areas of wood that have already been damaged by termites or moisture. In those cases, we can also provide wood replacement and related repair services, as well as insulation work when pest activity has affected those materials. For homeowners who prefer ongoing protection, we offer extendable warranties and maintenance plans that include regular checks and prompt attention if something changes.
Throughout this process, we keep communication open. We explain what each treatment option involves, how it fits the way homes are built in this area, and what you can expect before, during, and after our visit. That way you can choose the level of protection that feels right for your home and your budget.

No, our pricing is completely transparent. Your initial charge is based on your needs. If it just standard pest control, then your initial charge is $156, and your monthly cost is $52.

Yes. We want to earn your long-term business, not use a contract to force you to stay. The only reason we require a signed agreement on file is the recurring auto pay. We need the agreement to show you approved the charges, but every Kilter Pest Control agreement says you may cancel anytime.

You have a couple of options. Pest Shield™ begins on a Quarterly service schedule with free, unlimited re-treatments. During the months we are not scheduled to treat your home, call for free re-treatments. Turn your quarterly schedule into a monthly schedule. The only catch is that you must call and schedule the re-treatments. If you want us to schedule monthly, then you’d need to sign up for our Monthly service plan, which is $69/month.
